What will be an ideal response?

The turning point model is a type of relational trajectory model that conceptualizes relationship development in which couples move both toward and away from commitments over the course of their relationship. Turning points leading to increased commitment include get-to-know time, quality time, reunion, passion, positive psychic change, exclusivity, making up, serious commitment, and sacrifice. Turning points leading to decreased commitment include external competition, disengagement, and negative psychic change.
