Discuss positive reinforcement.

What will be an ideal response?

This can be thought of as adding something in order to increase a response. For instance, if a man is praised for the excellent grass cutting job he does, then he is likely to continue cutting the grass. The most common types of positive reinforcement involve praise and rewards. We praise children for getting grades with both praise and sometimes rewards, such as a new bike or a cell phone. It is through the process of positive reinforcement that most of our pleasurable learning takes place.
