Why is digital piracy a problem in America?

What will be an ideal response?

Digital piracy is the act of illegally copying music, movies, software, and other digital materials without the permission of or compensation to the copyright holder. Pirating behaviors can be extremely simple to perform, possibly explaining why a large amount of such pirates are under the age of 21. Music piracy is a common crime among juveniles, often perceived as a victimless one that doesn’t really affect a wealthy music artist. The perception that “everyone does it” diminishes deterrence. As a result, many juveniles continue to download illegal music.
