Explain the property of voltage.
What will be an ideal response?
Voltage is many times explained as pressure or the amount of work needed to move a unit charge between two points. Voltage is the difference in electrical potential between two points in the same way that water pressure in a gravity-fed system can be expressed as the difference in height between where the water comes in and where it goes out. Just as water moves downhill, electrons move to the positive electrode in a circuit and away from the negative.
