Explain what Freud meant by some women being “vaginally frigid.”

What will be an ideal response?

Freud believed that women can experience two different kinds of orgasms: clitoral and vaginal. He said in adulthood women make the transfer from clitoral orgasms to vaginal orgasms by focusing their sexual response. He believed some women fail to make this transfer, only being able to experience clitoral orgasms, and are therefore “vaginally frigid.”
