Develop a scenario different from that in the book that demonstrates a survival benefit of each of the following types

of learning: classical conditioning, operant conditioning habituation, imprinting, and insight. What will be an ideal response?

Concepts to Consider: Classical conditioning example should include an association formed
between a normal body function and a new stimulus (book example is Pavlov's dog
experiments); operant conditioning example should include an animal developing a behavior
in order to gain a reward or avoid a punishment (book example has to do with rats and
rewards, and the development of efficient feeding habits of gull chicks); habituation example
should include the animal avoiding a response to a stimulus that is not of importance in
survival (book example includes pigeons in cities and animals in areas where humans are on
a safari visit); imprinting example should include an association between a newly born or
hatched animal and the first organism that it spends time with (book example is of Lorenz's
ducks/geese); insight learning includes the association of past experiences with present
problems (book example describes a chimpanzee).

What structural component makes fat an efficient macromolecule able to store high amounts of energy?

A. Fats have long chains of C-H bonds, which store high amounts of energy. B. The way in which adipose tissues are structured is a way for a high amount of energy to be accessed easily. C. Lipids have many long chains of C-OH bonds, which store high amounts of energy. D. A lipid's size is small and can easily be broken, down releasing high amounts of energy.
