Describe memorization activities that may be used when teaching math facts

What will be an ideal response?

Practice to promote memorization of basic facts can be provided using paired practice in which students work with each other, teacher-directed practice in which the teacher presents facts to a group, worksheet exercises, flash card exercises, fact games, and computer-based activities. Newly introduced facts require intensive practice to memorize, while previously introduced facts require less intensive practice. All facts need to be systematically practiced.
