Describe four varieties of bullying, and give an example of how Chad might bully Jeremy in each case.

What will be an ideal response?

- Verbal bullying involves calling victims names, threatening them, or making fun of them. Chad might call Jeremy a "poop-head" or threaten to kill Jeremy's puppy while he's away on vacation.
- Physical bullying involves actual violence in the form of hitting, pushing, or inappropriate touching. Pushing Jeremy from behind on the schoolyard would be an example.
- Relational bullying occurs through social attacks and exclusion. Chad might invite all of Jeremy's friends to his house, but specifically exclude Jeremy while letting him know that.
- Cyberbullying occurs when victims are attacked online. Through aggressive, hurtful, or taunting social media posts, or through spreading lies electronically, Chad could enact cyberbullying on Jeremy.
