Create a rough sketch of your game in both 4:3 and 16:9 formats. Will one of the formats in particular enhance the way your game is played?

What will be an ideal response?

Students should create rough sketches of their games in both standard (4:3) and widescreen (16:9) formats. (Storyboard templates for this purpose have been provided as GS-standard-template.jpg and GS-widescreen-template.jpg.) After creating two sets of six sketches, students should be able to determine if one format is preferable; if there is a preferred format, students should re-work the playfield and/or interface elements in their sketches to ensure that the other format will work just as well.
