Explain the difference between a working drawing and a picture drawing of an object.

What will be an ideal response?

A working drawing is composed of both detailed drawings and assembly drawings that are used to completely understand the geometry of a product, its parts, and how it is assembled. Detail drawings contain multiple perspectives of a single part along with its dimensions, material composition, surface treatment, surface finish, tolerances, and part number. Assembly drawings call out the various parts used in the assembly, a unique identifying part number, quantities, and their location in the assembly.

A picture drawing is a representation of an object as seen by an observer from a specific point of view. They provide a 3-D perspective of the object and do not contain dimensions or additional details that are required to make it.
