What are name-calling and labeling? How can teachers reduce name-calling and labeling within classrooms?
What will be an ideal response?
Name-calling and labeling are ways of putting down the other person. Students engage in a lot of name-calling and labeling. Teachers should monitor students' use of such name-calling and labeling. When a teacher notices such behaviors, the teacher should intervene and talk with them about considering other students' feelings.
