What will be an ideal response?

The Standard-Binet Intelligence Scale and the Wechsler Adult Intelligence Scale (WAIS) are the two most common tests for measuring intelligence psychometrically. The Stanford-Binet test is based on the first intelligence test, which was developed by Alfred Binet and Theodore Simon for the French government. Lewis Terman at Stanford University later adapted the Binet-Simon test for use with English-speaking children. This became the Stanford-Binet Intelligence Scale. The WAIS developed by David Wechsler is the most widely used, individually administered measure of intelligence today.
