How does a tubal ligation prevent conception?
What will be an ideal response?
A tubal ligation is the surgery for removing part of both uterine tubes. The uterine tube is the passageway for the ovum to travel from the ovary to the uterus and also the passageway for the spermatozoa to travel to the ovum. The ligation blocks the possibility of the ovum meeting with the spermatozoa and prevents conception.
