Briefly explain why water vapor may either contribute to or slow global warming

What will be an ideal response?

If temperatures continue to rise, the oceans and other water bodies could transfer increasingly more water vapor into the atmosphere. This positive feedback could amplify the greenhouse effect. Alternatively, increased atmospheric water vapor could increase cloudiness, which could slow global warming by reflecting more incoming solar radiation back into space.
