A board can easily be destroyed. Explain the potential consequences of an inadequate repair evaluation?

What will be an ideal response?

The consequences can be serious. While board components can be replaced at a fairly reasonable cost, the board cannot. Without the board, all you have is a handful of spare parts and possibly a not-so-happy supervisor, boss, and/or customer.
