Cite the principal differences between the undercarriage of a unibody and BOF vehicle.
What will be an ideal response?
The undercarriage of a unibody vehicle will have a hat channel or U-channel rails that are welded to the underside of the floor pans. The frame as it may be called is an integrated part of the body. The BOF vehicle will generally have a separate frame rail that runs the length of the vehicle with cross members welded or riveted between them. The body is attached to the frame with fasteners.
