What is captioning? How does it differ from subtitles?
What will be an ideal response?
Captions are textual presentation of the sounds and spoken dialog that occur in video and other multimedia presentations. They also give the identity of the person speaking. Captions differ from subtitles, which are text translations that appear in foreign films. Subtitles do not include sound effects or indicate who is speaking.
