Responses will vary; Physical fitness is made up of several components including health-related fitness, skill-related fitness, and physiologic fitness. Health-related fitness is the ability to perform activities of daily living without undue fatigue. Components of health-related fitness include cardiorespiratory endurance, muscular strength and endurance, muscular flexibility, and body composition. Skill-related fitness components include agility, balance, coordination, power, reaction time, and speed. These components are related primarily to successful sports and motor-skill performance. Finally, physiologic fitness is a term used primarily in the field of medicine in reference to biological systems that are affected by physical activity. The components of physiologic fitness include metabolic fitness, morphologic fitness, and bone integrity.
