Discuss the history of Stanford Online High School

What will be an ideal response?

When Stanford Online High School (SOHS) began, it was designed to meet the needs of a diverse group of students who did not have access to excellent traditional education. These include rural students, gifted students, students who were homeschooled, students living in multiple locations, students living overseas, and those students who devote significant time each day to external pursuits including the arts. Part-time students take two or three courses and are usually enrolled in a brick-and-mortar school in addition to SOHS, and they use these courses for advanced study.
