Use Skinner’s concepts of radical behaviorism to explain Lydia and Madison’s behavior and relationship.
What will be an ideal response?
Lydia and Madison’s relationship was maintained in early childhood because it was rewarding for both of them, i.e., pleasant. In high school, their interactions are less pleasant, and in some cases unpleasant, so their relationship and time they spend together is less rewarding, and possibly punishing. Therefore it is less likely to be maintained and more likely to be dissolved.
