Customer insights refers to the collection, deployment, and interpretation of information that allows a business to acquire, develop, and retain its customers. A customer insights manager sifts through all of the available information about how customers interact with the organization in order to support market planning decisions. The insights manager incorporates information from many different sources to create a more complete image of customers. Charged with integrating information, the insights manager has a supporting role across departments and SBUs.
