What are the powers of an administrative law judge?
What will be an ideal response?
Although administrative law judges are similar to judges in civil or criminal cases, they have many differences. Although they do make rulings on cases, they do not wear robes at the hearings. The hearings themselves are not conducted at the courthouse, but at some other location, perhaps even a private building. Administrative law judges make findings of fact and use these as the basis for their final decision in their cases.
