What are the implications of load balancing with LNPR? Develop a computer program to add k LLs (where k ? 1) in a 10 × 10 grid network. Note that the LL addition should not consider load balancing. Make observations on the performance of the algorithm when CBP and ATPL values are concerned. Compare the results when load balancing is incorporated. Make suitable assumptions.

What will be an ideal response?

Some of the implications of load balancing with LNPR are as follows: Load balancing can be improved by adding non-persistent LLs in wireless mesh networks. Network traffic is more evenly distributed throughout the network by load balancing. Call blocking probability is also improved with load balancing. None of the LLs becomes bottleneck link in the network. However, average transmission path length is increased due to the way in which the
non-persistent LLs are added.
