Define and describe the elements of an analytical report outline

What will be an ideal response?

a. Introduction—Make sure that you keep the intended audience in mind here. This needs to be the section where you give the overview and scope of the work you have done.
b. Data—Present the data that you have collected, preferably in a graphical form. Make sure you include an appropriate legend and markings that support your analysis.
c. Analysis—Speak directly to the data that you present. Point out those aspects that support your conclusions and those that don’t. (An analytical report is not designed to persuade, only to present.)
d. Conclusions—Draw your conclusions from the analysis presented above. Make sure that the major points that need to be communicated are handled here and are supported by your data and analysis. Make sure that the larger implications (if any) of the results are communicated here as well.
