Discuss the environmental conditions required for the formation of organic reefs. What will be an ideal response?

Organic reefs commonly form in marine environments that are distinguished by relatively
shallow water, clear (photosynthesis), warm, low sedimentation (non-abrasive) waters.
Epeiric seas are very good places for organic reefs to form. Temperature conditions, in many
cases, are moderate and organic reefs are more abundant in tropical areas.
