ANS: Text messages, comments, rumors, embarrassing pictures, videos, and fake profiles that are meant to hurt another person and are sent by email or posted on social networking sites. Up to 43% of teens are subjected to cyberbullying. Physical appearance, nondominant gender roles, and sexuality tend to make a teen more susceptible to this form of bullying. Consequences ranging from poor academic performance to suicide have been connected to cyberbullying.
