Explain the epidemiological paradox that explains the seemingly better health of Latino/as and Asian Americans.

What will be an ideal response?

Both the Latino/a and Asian categories are comprised of diverse groups of people. When we collapse them into one large category we lose sight of the difference within these groups that influence health outcomes. For example, Puerto Ricans experience almost twice the rate of infant mortality compared to Cuban Americans, but both belong to the Latino/a category.
