Based on Anna’s written observation of Dot’s office and clothing, use STROBE to analyze Dot as a decision maker. In two paragraphs, compare and contrast what you learned in Dot’s interview and what you learned via STROBE.
What will be an ideal response?
In the interview with Dot Matricks, she seemed open and friendly. At the start of the interview, she is making casual conversation about the reception for the new president and seems warm and open. The atmosphere is one of “we’re on the same team.”
The STROBE observation shows that the placement of the chair next to the desk is less formal, the door is open, and the room has warm colors and is brightly lit. Pictures of her children are on the bookcase and there are signs of active use of materials.
