Explain what empathy is and give an example of how it can be used
What will be an ideal response?
Empathy is the ability to put yourself in another person?s position in order to actually
feel or approximate the feelings of others. An example of this would be when you see a
friend with a sad look on his/her face. You approach her and ask what the problem is.
She tells you that her dog just died. You relate an experience in which you felt similar
emotions and offer to listen to how she/he feels.
