Select one of the low-incidence disabilities discussed in the chapter. Provide a definition of the disability. Create a mini case that describes a child who shows the characteristics of the selected disability.
What will be an ideal response?
The answer should indicate whether multiple disabilities, TBI, or deaf-blindness is selected. The definition will depend upon the disability selected. However, the definition should reflect the information in Topic 14.1 "Multiple Disabilities," Topic 14.2 "Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI)," or Topic 14.3 "Deaf-Blindness." The mini case should reflect the disability selected and the characteristics for the specific disability as described in the corresponding topic area.
