Every MPR campaign has its own set of goals and will therefore rely on a specific set of connectors to help it reach those goals. Connectors are a firm's primary tool for linking its story to an intended audience. Marketers rarely use all their connectors to reach a specific audience in any one campaign. The reason for generating a campaign-specific list is that a story may be focused on one topic or industry. As a result, certain channels, as opposed to others, might be better suited for portraying a company's message.
