Discuss the priority nursing intervention prior to Mrs. Whitney's biopsy and immediately following diagnosis
What will be an ideal response?
Answer: Before and after the procedure you want to make sure the patient is overall balanced with the emotional state they are prepared for what could be but you don’t want them going into a procedure like this if they are very anxious and nervous not emotionally stable. Prior depending on the results you want to make sure all questions are answered and follow up care is established and most importantly they have a good support system to help maintain their emotional state
