How does hypertrophy change a muscle? Does endurance training or resistance training promote muscle hypertrophy?

What will be an ideal response?

Hypertrophy is an increase in both the number of myofibrils and the diameter of the muscle fibers. With hypertrophy comes a decreased proportion of mitochondrial proteins and blood supply to a muscle. This decrease is a function of the fiber enlarging rather than actually losing mitochondria or blood vessels. Resistance training promotes muscle hypertrophy.
