Medium-size bowl (this will be filled halfway with cool water and used to cool stones that are too hot)
Flat cloth sheet
1 large towel, approximately 30" x 60"
Pillow and bolster
Dial thermometer
Small wrench (to calibrate the thermometer for each treatment)
Spray bottle containing alcohol
Insulated gloves
Slotted wooden spoon (optional)
4 mesh drawstring bags (such as lingerie bags) or 3 mesh bags and 1 small wire basket
Essential oil (optional)
Sanitizer–Listerine® or Fresh 'N Clear (a sanitizer for whirlpools and hot tubs)
Stone cleaner such as liquid castille soap, vinegar, soap and water
Work space large enough to hold the roaster, cooling receptacle, and stones as they are organized
