Use Rotter's concept of locus of control to explain Samara's relationship with men.

What will be an ideal response?

Samara probably has an external locus of control. She never thinks that she is to blame for the break-ups. Rather she is always the "victim". Because she doesn't think that she is to blame for the ending of her relationships, she will never change her behavior and therefore will continue to run in to the same problems over and over again. She may continue to have problems establishing a lasting relationship.
