Discuss the reliability and validity of performance tests

What will be an ideal response?

A concern about performance tests is that their reliability and validity have not been clearly established. The evaluation of performance assessments is time consuming, labor intensive, and expensive. It is also difficult to score them consistently, to make them reliable, or to be certain that the tests accurately measure the intended target information and skills to make them valid.
