• Job performance: an employee's understanding of the importance of his or her job, an employee's perception regarding how he or she is valued within the company, and the employee's compensation.

• Absenteeism: an employee's satisfaction with the work environment, and employee's job responsibilities, and the level of recognition of the employee's contributions within the company.

• Turnover: an employee's compensation and an employee's opportunity for development and advancement.
