What are the two main factors that affect how smooth the animation is in the Rebound program? Explain how changing either would affect it.
What will be an ideal response?
The speed and smoothness of the animation is a function of the pause between the action events generated by the timer and the distance the image is shifted each time the timer expires. If the pause is increased, there is more opportunity for the viewer to register the position of the image and the more likely it will appear to "jump" from one location to another. Likewise, the greater the distance shifted each time, the more likely the image will appear to jump.
