Describe methodological issues concerning hormonal concentrations in adolescents

What is
the relationship between these concentrations and adolescent emotions or behavior, and what
are some different theories that might explain this relationship?
What will be an ideal response?

Because hormonal concentrations fluctuate over the course of the day, it is important to
collect samples (via blood draws) around the same time and in the same place. A direct
relationship between adolescent hormonal concentrations and behavior or emotions is
too simplistic of a framework. Some studies suggest that adolescent mood is better
predicted by changing, temporal environmental circumstances. In fact, environmental
factors may influence hormonal concentrations more than the other way around.
