Explain why it is important to perform an exfoliation on a client before giving him or her a body wrap
What will be an ideal response?
It is always important to begin with an exfoliation. Removing the dead skin cells enables the substance being used to work more efficiently. This can be done with any of the treatments outlined in Chapter 5. The quick-prep dry brushing technique is a standard exfoliation that can be done before any body wrap, or the full-body dry brushing can be performed if clients desire a longer treatment.
