Define and explain gross domestic product
What will be an ideal response?
Gross domestic product is the total market value of all final goods and services produced by factors of production located within a country's borders. GDP does not count intermediate goods but counts only final goods and services. GDP is also measured for a given period of time, usually a year, so it is a flow concept. It also counts only market transactions, so the value of home production is not included.
