Please discuss the “ecosystemic framework,” what is the premise of the framework, what are its main components

What will be an ideal response?

The ecosystemic framework is a tool that child maltreatment workers can use to understand the influences on a single incident of alleged abuse. The innermost circle is the individual child, consisting of the child’s genetic makeup, physical and psychological health, individual experiences, aptitudes and disabilities, and developmental level. The second circle is the child’s home and family, and issues include who is in the family, home stability and safety, and family history. The third circle, “ethnic and religious culture,” concerns communal influences on how a family decides what to believe and how to act. These influences include help-seeking, language, food, religious belief and practice, holidays, and so much more that will be discussed throughout this chapter. The fourth circle, social systems, includes proximal influences such as the child’s neighborhood, school, treatment providers, and peer group, as well as wider social systems such as state and national policies, systematic discrimination, and housing affordability.
