Abbey is attending an office conference about the Snodgrass matter. Snodgrass is not present. Abbey's two supervising lawyers discuss how best to "get Snodgrass off" of any potential tax fraud charges, criminal or civil. Abbey should do what with that information?
What will be an ideal response?
If Abbey hears her two supervising lawyers talking about how to get Snodgrass off from any charges of tax fraud then she should keep the information to herself. This is part of the confidentiality of a lawyer and client where even though Abbey has heard something about Snodgrass she cannot say anything because he is not her client. The only way Abbey would be legally able to talk about what she heard was if she was the paralegal on the case and was going to discuss the information with the supervising lawyers.
