What is the difference between Lightness in the Hue/Saturation adjustment and Brightness in the Brightness/Contrast adjustment?
What will be an ideal response?
Photoshop doesn't want you to confuse "Lightness" in the Hue/Saturation adjustment with "Brightness" in the Brightness/Contrast adjustment. The Lightness slider in the Hue/Saturation adjustment has its uses, but it's not to brighten or darken an image the way you do with the Brightness/Contrast adjustment. Use the Brightness/Contrast adjustment to brighten or darken an image as opposed to the Lightness slider in the Hue/Saturation adjustment.
