Differentiate between apogee and perigee and briefly discuss the effect on tidal height when perigee coincides with spring tide

What will be an ideal response?

Apogee occurs when the Moon is at the greatest distance from the Earth and perigee occurs when the Moon is closest to the Earth. When perigee occurs simultaneously with spring tide (remembering that at spring tide, the Moon, Earth, and Sun are aligned at 180° and solar and lunar tides are additive), an excessively high tide occurs, which can produce significant coastal flooding.
