Explain the basic assumption of the ?communication as transaction? model

This model looks at communication as the creation of meaning. In addition to the
components of the earlier and simpler models, it assumes that communicators interact
simultaneously, adapting constantly to each other so that the meaning for the
transaction is created together. This is a contrast to the earlier models, which assumed
meaning is transferred from one person to another.
