Training group leaders
What will be an ideal response?
to address ethical issues is a multidimensional process. On one level, group leaders must become familiar with ethical codes and standards. On another level, they must get to know their own ethics and values. On a third level, prospective group leaders must practice recognizing ethical dilemmas and making ethical decisions. Finally individuals must become aware of the development of ethical decision making over time so they can assess their own development as practitioners.
