Religion is behavior oriented with outward practices; spirituality is emotionally oriented with inward practices. Religion is authoritarian in terms of behavior; spirituality is not, as one is accountable to oneself. Religion is doctrine-oriented and separates the good from the evil; spirituality is not doctrine-oriented and is unifying.
