What will be an ideal response?

Essay should include:

There are many defined personality disorders. Overall, personality disorders are characterized by persistent patterns of behavior that are a source of distress for the individual and/or others. The paranoid personality disorder is characterized by suspiciousness. They interpret others' behaviors as threatening. Since those with paranoid personality disorder are mistrustful of others, relationships are difficult to maintain. The antisocial personality shows a lack of guilt and can hurt others with no remorse. These individuals do not form close bonds with others. Punishment does not seem to be a deterrent to their harmful behavior. Men are more likely than women to have antisocial personality disorder. Those with avoidant personality disorders have a fear of rejection and/or criticism. These individuals will not enter into relationships without some assurance that they will be accepted. As a result, they tend to have few relationships outside of their immediate families. However, they do have interest in, and warmth towards, others. Those with borderline personality disorder show emotional and identity instability, fluctuating idealization and loathing of their partners, and distress with being alone. Biological, psychological and sociocultural factors are all implicated in explaining these disorders. While some genetic predispositions to each of these disorders may exist, people may also learn maladaptive ways of responding to their environments.
