Describe the use of IP multicast and group names in the Jini ‘discovery’ service which allows
clients and servers to locate lookup servers.
What will be an ideal response?
Each lookup service has a set of groups associated with it. A client or server needing to locate a lookup server
specifies the names of a set of groups (they are interested in) in a multicast request.
Lookup servers belonging to those groups reply by sending a proxy. Lookup servers also advertise the groups
they are associated with when they send their “I am here” messages.
